Dr. Crystal Hammond

Born and raised in Seattle, WA, Crystal Hammond grew up in a family plagued with drugs, alcohol and gang violence. Yet despite having her first experience with drugs at the age of six, it was the love of her family and father that gave her the strength to obtain a GED at 13. Just three short years later, the same strength led her to move out on her own when she lost her mother and had her first child.

Life experiences caused Crystal to love and have compassion for people. Through the ministry of Fountain Life Christian Church with Pastor Michael and Robin Tramble, God began to use her heart when she accepted Jesus into her life at the age of 21. Crystal continued to be equipped for ministry when she joined Christian Life Fellowship Center Church (now ALCC), Pastor George and Brenda Frost. She served in numerous positions in the church; assisted in the development and received certification in Christian Ambassadors Training Academy and Fresh Fire Prophetic Ministry; ministered at various venues throughout the states; and was ordained in 2005.

Crystal’s love and compassion for people could also be seen outside of the church. As a successful business owner, she donated a significant portion of her time to helping small businesses and non-profit organizations develop best business practices. As an activist for equal rights, she served on numerous community and government agencies that promote affirmative action, and equal education and employment opportunities.

She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Doctorate Degrees in Theology and Religious Education. She was a Professor of English and Old Testament Theology at Seattle Urban Bible College. She is currently a business analyst for a local government agency.

Crystal and Patrick have been together for 41 years, 31 as husband and wife. Together, they pastor New Destiny Christian Center Church, formerly Higher Praise Christian Center. They were blessed with three sons, Patrick, Christopher, and Desean Hammond. Crystal is quoted as saying, “Our hearts desire is to see people of all ages, races, ethnic groups, and denominations walk and talk with God’s knowledge and wisdom.” Together the Hammond’s are committed to seeing people fulfill their God-given destinies.

To God Be The Glory!!!
