“Your Footsteps Are Ordered By God”
Praise the machless name of Jesus Christ,
I want to encourage you to trust the place that God has you NOW. I know it does not look like you are in a good place NOW, however, Joseph was not in a good place and yet God was with him. God has a way of turning around what would seem like a bad place or situation, into a place of promise. He has given everyone a destiny to fulfill and as children of the King, we must trust Him even if it doesn’t look or feel good. What is a destiny? Destiny is the predetermined will of God carried out by the Holy Spirit in the lives of individuals or group of people.
When we think about the life that we live, people we meet, where we live, jobs that we have had, and the people in our life (past, present and future), we must understand that God doesn’t do anything by happenstance. The Bible says, “The steps of a good man are ordered by God and he delightes in his way.” However, the idea here is that all that pertains to the journey of a good man or woman is directed, ordered, fitted, or arranged by the Lord. That is, his or her course of life is under the divine guidance and control of God.
We must continually give God thanks not only for the hurtles He has taken us over, but also for the ditches He has allowed us to fall in. Remember, there is not a place in the world that God's presences cannot penetrate. All things work together for the good… find the good and worship God for it.
